North Shore Medical Center (NSMC) is the largest healthcare provider on the North Shore offering comprehensive health services to residents of our communities. NSMC includes such cutting-edge facilities as NSMC Salem Hospital, NSMC Union Hospital in Lynn, and NSMC North Shore Children's NSMC is also a member of Partners Healthcare (PHS), which includes founding members Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital.

NSMC Salem Hospital is a 248-bed community teaching hospital that provides comprehensive adult and pediatric services. It is home to the angioplasty, electrophysiology and cardiac surgery programs of the NSMC Heart Center as well as the complete obstetrical services of the Birthplace at Salem Hospital. It offers the North Shore's largest emergency service and is designated by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health as a Primary Stroke Service hospital

NSMC Union Hospital is a 147-bed, acute care community hospital dedicated to providing high-quality, convenient health care to the residents of Lynn and surrounding communities. The clinical staff provides sophisticated adult medical and surgical services including emergency care, convenient day surgeries and other procedures. A state-of-the-art Interventional Radiology Suite enables physicians to provide sophisticated treatment involving the vascular system with the latest technology. The Rosemary Costin Center for Women's Wellness at NSMC Union Hospital offers a community of caregivers who provide personalized, innovative, traditional and holistic healthcare services for women on the North Shore, to promote the health and well-being of mind, body and soul.

NSMC North Shore Children’s Hospital represents a powerful collaboration between two of the most respected names in pediatric health care in Massachusetts. NSMC North Shore Children's Hospital is a community affiliate of MassGeneral Hospital for Children (MGHfC). Through this affiliation, they offer common standards and protocols, as well as a network of subspecialists on staff at MGHfC. Our inpatient unit and dedicated pediatric emergency department are staffed by jointly appointed NSMC and MGHfC staff. All care at NSMC North Shore Children’s Hospital is managed by NSMC/MGHfC staff, with daily teleconferences held between the two facilities to review complex cases with key specialists.
